The first time I went to the supermarket here in the US everything was different from Brazil. I struggled to buy few things, we did not find some things that I used to eat in Brazil and I tried to eat as healthy as possible. Down below I posted a picture of my first supermarket day, it is just a few things, but I spent a lot of time in the supermarket trying to find those. Everything is new for me, so every time that I went to the supermarket I spent at least thirty minutes there, even if it was just to buy some soda. One thing that I liked about the supermarket here is that they have a lot of things, you can choose from a variety of brands. But this is it, now, after two months I do not need to spend thirty minutes every time I go to the supermarket!!!
This is a really cool blog post! It is so interesting to see things that I have been doing for as long as I can remember, from other people's point of view. I can definitely understand how the change can be difficult, especially from two different countries, but you seem like you are doing really well. It takes a strong person to be able to do that. Is there anything that you are missing specifically that you had back at home?
